Penne Lisce Pasta

Mancini

This pasta is made with 100% durum wheat semolina grown on Mancini’s own farms in the Marche region of Italy. Penne lisce are smooth (non-ridged) diagonally cut pasta tubes, unlike penne rigate which have ridges. The smooth surface gives them a silkier mouthfeel and pairs well with delicate sauces like butter and sage, cream sauces, or simple tomato and basil. Mancini extrudes the pasta through traditional bronze dies and dries it slowly at low temperatures, ensuring excellent texture and flavor absorption.
