This pasta is handcrafted by Pastificio Giuseppe Cocco in Abruzzo, Italy, using traditional bronze-die extrusion and slow drying. Farfalle (“butterflies” or “bow ties”) are small, pinched pasta shapes with a smooth center and ruffled edges. Their shape makes them versatile: excellent for creamy sauces, tomato-based sauces, or cold pasta salads, as the ridges and folds hold dressing well. Farfalle is also a popular choice for lighter, vegetable-forward dishes.
