This artisanal pasta is made in Abruzzo, Italy, by Pastificio Giuseppe Cocco using durum wheat semolina, bronze-die extrusion, and slow air-drying. Mezzi rigatoni are a shorter version of traditional rigatoni — wide, ridged tubes with straight-cut edges but about half the length. Their size makes them versatile for baked dishes, chunky tomato sauces, vegetable ragùs, or creamy cheese sauces, while still offering the same sauce-gripping ridges of classic rigatoni.
