This pasta is handmade in Abruzzo, Italy, by Pastificio Giuseppe Cocco, using durum wheat semolina, bronze-die extrusion, and slow air-drying. Penne are short, diagonally cut tubes, one of Italy’s most classic pasta shapes. Their hollow centers and angled edges make them excellent for trapping sauces. They are highly versatile and pair well with tomato-based sauces, creamy preparations, vegetable ragùs, or baked pasta dishes.
