This artisanal pasta is crafted in Abruzzo, Italy, by Pastificio Giuseppe Cocco using durum wheat semolina, bronze-die extrusion, and slow natural drying. Pennoni are oversized penne—large, diagonally cut tubes with ridged exteriors. Their generous size and hollow center make them excellent for holding chunky sauces, stuffing with ricotta or meat fillings, or baking in pasta casseroles. As part of the “Special Cut” line, Pennoni highlight traditional, bold pasta shapes meant for hearty, rustic cooking.
